Apache Taco Shop: A Flavorful Taco Experience in Las Vegas

My boyfriend and I have been on the hunt for a good Mexican food spot that’s near home, specifically one similar in menu/operating style to Roberto’s, but with tastier and better quality food. Thank goodness we gave Apache a shot because it has been one of the best local food discoveries we’ve made. EVER. They have 7 different salsas, an extensive menu, a quaint, clean location, and the food is insanely delicious. It takes a bit longer for the food to be prepared but I can’t say enough how worth it the wait is. My boyfriend got a shrimp burrito, a shrimp taco, and a fish taco and I got a breakfast burrito sans meat. The food came out so hot and the portion sizes were considerable. Every bite we took we took delighted our tastebuds and we both kept talking about how amazed and excited we were about our discovery. You can tell that the cook is passionate about the dishes he’s making, as the food goes above and beyond any expectations of mine, which can be high because I’m a foodie. 5 stars isn’t enough. Give this place a shot, you won’t be disappointed.

Truly amazing food! Not many places have great food like this! Everything was well seasoned, I ordered the apache fries. The fries are thick and fresh! Not frozen and you can tell! The meat was nice and soft, not chewy like other places. Good portion as well, and it comes with this house sauce for the fries. Took a little bit for the food but worth the wait. I well definitely come back to eat here.

Really good small taco shop, food is really flavorful and good portions. Their salsas are amazing. Keep in mind this place is very small, maybe 15 people sitting so in rush hour you might have to take out your food or wait a little for a table. The owners are super nice and during the day is just the two of them working. Good place, good food.

Came to try out this spot since it was open late and close to the house. The cashier was very friendly and helpful, it's great to speak to someone with social skills as it doesn't feel common anymore in the customer facing positions. This place definitely stays busy as there were many to go orders being picked up while we waited for our food to be ready. The food was good, but I especially enjoyed the Bavarian cream filled churros. Definitely recommend that!

Alright so I have been going to this place for years now since I worked at the T-mobile at the Fort Apache and Tropicana location. My friend showed me this place, the Apache fries is what I usually get. So the only reason I have this place 4 stars as opposed to the 5 I would have gave it is because they kind of dropped the quality of the fries. And I feel like they have began to over cook them. Don't get me wrong the steak is great. Like it genuinely taste like the carne asada you would expect at your uncles carne asada on a Sunday afternoon, very well marinated and all. But my only issue nowadays is the fries. I still go and get them here and there and I would suggest you do too! The workers are usually really nice and helpful. The place itself looks like your typical hole in the wall Mexican spot but the food is great! Fyi the horchata is in a big ol styrofoam cup, looks similar to a Bucket.
